Pictures of Kindle 2.0 Out?

Pictuer courtosy of BGR
I was aware that folks were beta testing Kindle, but I wasn’t aware that pictures of the product were actually out. The good folks at BCG have gotten their hands on the next Kindle. On the surface, it does look slightly more user friendly, but there is no reading size difference. The Adapter seems to have moved away from the “one pin” type. I guess Amazon does listen to folks who have killed their Kindles by breaking the pin inside the power hole. Very interesting.
Don’t forget to check the rest of picture here.
Any word yet on what the ‘inside’ changes will be as far as processor, wireless speed, memory & storage, battery life, et al???
Of course, I’d still like to hold one and see how this one feels in my hands…
I want to hold one too. I am disappointed a bit that it does not come with color but it seems that the E-Ink technology used on this version is better than the last. Now here is the disturbing rumor: the battery is not easy accessible like Kindle 1.0. Sort of like old iPods…
Another rumor: Amazon will be talking more about it starting Nov 1st. Amazon will officially stop pushing Kindle 1.0 hard after Nov 1.

Kindle is lacking in the “coolness” department right now, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Amazon decides to go in that direction with Kindle 3.0 (we already know what Kindle 2.0 looks like). [...]
